Would you like to be part of a team focused on enabling EMEA Healthcare organizations (Health Agencies, Payers, Providers and Medical Research Agencies) to innovate through the use of leading-edge cloud computing technology? Do you have the clinical background and community affiliations in order to influence the industry through thought leadership and sharing compelling value propositions?

Join us in a new role as the Business Development Manager EMEA for Genomics at Amazon Web Services. Focusing on the EMEA healthcare sector, you will have the exciting opportunity to leverage the richness of the AWS cloud computing platform to position and drive the right technology solutions, enable the ecosystem, and address changing industry needs with special focus to Genomics and Precision Medicine.



Key job responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include advising AWS business and technical leaders to craft our healthcare industry strategy and communicating that to customers and partners through in person and digital/social channels. You will be the credible voice representing AWS to the external healthcare community and translating the capabilities of AWS cloud computing in Genomics and Precision Medicine context for our customers. You will also contribute to the understanding of the needs of the research and clinical market for genomics and build the solution portfolio and GoToMarket strategy for EMEA. You will work closely with the product/service teams to help them evolve the products/services and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field.
The ideal candidate will possess a clinical background with expertise in genomics and precision medicine. It would be preferred if she/he also had experience in driving a digital transformation initiative across institutions or on national level. She/he will possess experience in driving engagements and interacting at the CxO level. She/he should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and delivering results is a must.

Position can be based in a Europe hub, e.g. Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Stockholm, London.
