We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer (m/f/d) with solid CS and Programming fundamentals for our R&D team in Berlin Germany. Our Systems help production and filling facilities from across a diverse field of businesses around the world to inspect and improve their production quality with uniquely powerful software and hardware products. You will work as a Software Engineer (m/f/d) in a team specialized in multiple displines. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing and deploying new products and services in a fast-paced, iterative development environment. A successful candidate will be able to deliver high-quality, scalable, innovative, fully performing software in compliance with coding standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle application development
• Design, code, debug, test and deploy scalable applications in VB, C# 
• Code Migration to modern/high-performance programming languages like C# and C++
• Application Framework Development
• Object Oriented Design and Analysis
• Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
• Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability
• Software modeling and simulation
• Signal processing and machine learning algorithm design and implementation
• Front end graphical user interface design and implementation
• Functional testing and quality assurance
• Support, maintain and document application functionality
• Task planning and management
• Propose solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts

Your Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and Data Structures
• Experience with Visual Basic
• Experience with Embedded Systems
• Knowledge of and/or experience with C++ or C# Programming Language 
• Very good knowledge of Software Architecture and Design Patterns 
• Providing high quality code
• Experience with a versioning system like SVN
• Experience with Visual Studio IDE
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• Good command of English both written and verbal
• Intellectual drive to learn anything
• Great debugging and reasoning skills
• Team Player

• Computer Science or related field BSc degree
• Knowledge of PLC (B&R) programming
• Knowledge of Computer Vision and Signal Processing and related libraries
• Real-time application programming experience
• Agile development processes and principles
