Your Responsibilities

You will be part of the group »Technical Reliability« which analyses gas turbines datasets. The aim of your job is to predict gas turbine life. This is done by analyzing operating and maintenance information, always keeping an eye on the function of the entire gas turbine system. At present, the team consists of 1 CEO, 2 advisors, 2 developers and support from TU Berlin research associates and several students.  A culture of open exchange and cooperation, even beyond the boundaries of your team, is particularly important to us.

Your Qualifications

You will take care of the processing and evaluation of field data, utilizing them to derive test profiles. In doing so, you will employ statistical methods. The modeling and simulation of the whole system also forms part of your work. As the goal of your activities, you always have the increase of reliability in mind and contribute to a better understanding of the failure mechanisms of gas turbines with your analyses and simulations. You will also develop new evaluation methods and implement models.

Our Offer

You will play a part in this and discuss data exchange with companies, for example with regard to high-resolution SCADA data. Conducting research is also key to remain in touch with the very latest developments in the field. You integrate all your activities into a variety of research and industry projects to maximum advantage. By joining us, you will also become directly involved in project management
