Junior Software Engineer in Frankfurt am Main

As Junior Software Developer, you’ll be joining our Engineering team where you’ll help us drive the development of our motion graphics, color correction, compositing, and visual effects product suites.WHAT YOU WILL DO:You’ll be working on our build, deployment, and testing tools. You’ll also help the team harmonize the build and deployment processes, as well as evolving theexisting build infrastructure. As you get involved with the teams and projects, your role would evolve towards creating and maintaining our products for videohost applications.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:• At least 3 years of experience as a C/C++ developer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and work in a virtual team environment• Fluent in written and spoken English and are able to clearly communicate ideas and technical knowledge• You have experience with continuous integration platforms (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)• You have experience with automated testing workflows and frameworks• You have experience in developing plugins for host applications• You have development experience on Windows, macOS, and Linux• You have experience in planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospective meetingsWHAT WE OFFER:You will be given a permanent full-time contract with perspective at our headquarters in Friedrichsdorf (just north of Frankfurt/Main), Germany, or Montreal (Canada).
