ABOUT THE TEAM


As part of the board area Product Engineering, the line of business SAP Customer Experience (CX) is re-imaging Customer Experience to emphasize its great portfolio of cloud products which covers every step in the process, from the first contact a customer has with a company through to when they choose to buy from it.  SAP Customer Experience solutions help bridge customer freedom with company results. Our solutions give companies the confidence to provide freedom while building strong relationships based on trust and empathy. Every solution in our portfolio helps to engage customers, understand customers, and deliver to customers. We achieve this by integrating various solutions for marketing, commerce, service, sales, and customer data management.


In the organization, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and team (COO Office) create efficiencies to achieve overall operational excellence by steering CX’s product portfolio end-to-end, manage the overall risks, reinforce the quality of our products, drive strategic initiatives, provide central alignment and offer operational support across our entire organization and for the ultimate benefit of our customers.


THE ROLE


You are a well-structured student, curious and passionate about working on strategic and operational challenges in a highly dynamic field? If the answer is yes, we have the right job for you! Join our agile COO Office and you will have the opportunity to sneak into the fields mentioned above. 


Your job would entail supporting in one or more of the following tasks: 

 

  • Manage small projects in alignment and close collaboration across the unit respecting the unit’s vision, mission and strategic goals
  • Support of strategic initiatives paired with operational excellence and reporting responsibilities 
  • Support other ad hoc requests
  • Start as soon as possible for a minimum of 6 months employment duration, preferably minimum 12 working hours per week

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study:  Business Engineering, Business Administration, International Management or related fields
  • Computer skills:  Advanced MS Office Suite knowledge (pref. Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred skills: 
    • Good understanding of business operations and interest in global companies
    • Strong analytical, organization, communication and networking skills 
    • Established knowledge in project management
  • Soft skills:  
    • Strong hands-on attitude compared with a team-oriented working style while driving topics independently
    • Reliable and open-minded with intercultural sensitivity
  • Language skills: Fluent in English (mandatory), advanced/ fluent in German is a plus

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
