PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Total Rewards (TR) operates as a global team within the SAP Human Resources (HR) organization.   We enable SAP’s business strategy by proving the best total rewards solutions that engage our customers (candidates & employees) while improving their lives. We create exceptional customer experience through cutting-edge simple solution design – communicated and delivered with excellence. 

Market Intelligence is an area within Total Rewards which specializes in the comparison of SAP’s compensation data with the respective data of other peer companies (market data) and offers a great opportunity to gain knowledge on the design of compensation plans from an internal and external perspective.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

This is your opportunity to contribute to the optimization of the internal administration of compensation at SAP and the comparison with the external market data (e.g. from peers). In detail we need your support for the following activities:

•             Collection and submission of internal salary data to international salary survey companies

•             Preparation of upload files (Excel) into our global compensation market pricing tool

•             Rollout support for Market Intelligence HR KPI scorecard and Market Intelligence newsletter

•             Supporting the daily activities of the Total Rewards Global Services Frameworks Teams

•             International coverage with all SAP countries regarding compensation related questions

•             Preparing analyses and presentations of market trends in the field of compensation

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

•             Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences of Business Administration (ideally with focus on HR), sociology, psychology, economics or related fields

•             Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (here first Pivot and Formula knowledge would be a plus)

•             A very good knowledge in English is mandatory, a good knowledge in German is preferable but not mandatory

•             The student must be comfortable with analytical work, and a previous exposure to statistics is a plus

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

First experience in the area of HR would be a plus

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
