Machine Learning enables computers to learn from large amounts of data without being explicitly programmed. The world's most relevant enterprise data is part of SAP's system and business network. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You will have the unique opportunity to be part of the machine learning platform engineering team within SAP Data Intelligence. In a dynamic, fun and start-up-like environment you will have a great opportunity to learn and work on emerging technologies solving real-world problems at the intersection of Machine Learning, Cloud and DevOps. You will be working together with seasoned software engineers and machine learning experts to explore cutting-edge topics in the cloud ML ecosystem.
Your tasks will include:

• Research open-source projects related to ML pipelines and workflows
• Research DevOps best practices on productive ML
• Prototype proof of concepts solving given requirements

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences with preferred field(s) of study: Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar
• Solid background in both distributed systems and machine learning 
• Excellent coding skills: Python or another modern programming language
• Familiarity with Cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Docker containers and Git
• Familiarity with TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
• Language skills: fluent English
• Soft skills: good communication and presentation skills, ability and willingness to learn fast, and the ability to quickly put ideas into code.
• Other: Determined to reach a goal in time, ability to work independently

Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
