PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES 
As part of SAP’s IT Services organization, the Enterprise Data Technology (EDT) is responsible for providing consultancy & technology expertise in the area of data management mastering data migration, integration, quality and governance projects in SAP’s hybrid (cloud + onPremise) system landscape. 

The foundation of the “Data Protection & Privacy Center of Excellence” (DPP CoE) -team as part of EDT in March 2020 is another piece in SAP’s commitment to data protection and privacy. It contributes towards how SAP respects data protection and privacy rights and safeguards the personal data of individuals under SAP’s control.

We are looking for a working student (f/m/d) to become an active contributor in the newly founded DPP CoE team. The ideal candidate is open-minded and shares our belief in the importance of the privacy and protection of personal information. 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The successful candidate shall support the work of the DPP CoE, mainly by providing support to the Program Manager in the Program Management Office (PgMO). The focus of the work will be, among other things, on communications management. The work will not have a strong focus on traditional program management activities such as reporting. Instead, it shall focus on the creativity and innovation aspects of communications, for example by applying contemporary media channels and technologies.

Depending on personal preferences and technical knowledge, it is also possible to get involved in implementation topics or to create DPP guidelines for business and technical experts.

The DPP CoE is a fairly new team within SAP IT. Hence there is a wide range of potential activities in which everyone who is looking for a challenge can find their preferred field of activity. Additionally, this role provides insights into the culture and working methods of the world market leader in business software solutions.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study:  Computer Science or related fields    
  • Computer skills: Affinity to software development (ideally in cloud environments)
  • Language skills: fluency in English and/or German (written and verbal)
  • Capable of preparing state-of-the art presentation material
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to a heterogenous audience, including non-experts
  • Soft skills: 
    • Ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural team   
    • Good problem-solving and communication skills
    • A high level of motivation, flexibility and agility
