PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Sustainability is an integral part of SAP’s vision and purpose to help the world run better and improve people’s lives. The Sustainability team drives SAP’s dual responsibility when it comes to sustainability: first, respect human rights, operate and develop ethically, reduce our environmental footprint and, second, advance customers’ own sustainability journeys through our solution portfolio. We are searching for an intern (f/m/d) to support our activities in the areas of human rights, ethics, sustainability governance, and materiality. 
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Conduct content research related to ethics (incl. artificial intelligence ethics), human rights, and materiality
  • Support analyses of potential ethical dilemmas
  • Support materiality analysis for the SAP Integrated Report 
  • Help drive stakeholder engagement
  • Support project management and communication 
  • 5-6 months internship with preferred start date April 2020

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Studying preferably in the fields:  business/economics, communications and / or sustainability or similar subjects      
  • Having the following computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; interest in new IT tools (relevant for materiality analysis      
  • Speaking German and English fluently   
  • Besides that, you are passionate for sustainability, corporate responsibility, human rights and ethics; a team player; focused on accuracy, results and execution  
  • Others: Strong communication and debate skills
