PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Services CoE & Cross Controlling Team is designing and accompanying the management process of target-definition, forecasting and reporting within the Services Business of SAP, comprising Consulting Delivery and Sales. By doing so the team supports the Executive Leaders in decision making, risk assessment and business steering to contribute to SAP’s strategy. Additionally, Services Controlling serves as an interlinkage between corporate functions (e.g. Strategic Financial Planning, Group Controlling) and regional controlling departments.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
An internship at SAP usually lasts 6 months. During this period, you will support your colleagues in Services CoE & Cross Controlling with

  • planning and budgeting processes of SAP’s Services business
  • preparation of monthly/quarterly management reports and ad-hoc requests 
  • calculation and tracking of financial and non-financial KPIs
  • business unit controlling tasks (e.g. forecast system entry, accrual process, business partnering)
  • project support 

 After the first training period, your goal is to work on specific tasks and fields on your own responsibility.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences:
  • Preferred fields of study: Business Administration / Finance
  • Basic skills in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge in German and English (written and spoken) is required
  • Capacity for conceptional and analytical thinking
  • Distinct focus on quality and precision
  • Ability to work independently, at the same time ability to work in a team and high communication skills 
  • Extraordinary commitment and initiative
