PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Business Innovation & IT (BI&IT) is responsible for evolving SAP’s internal IT strategy and executing on it. BI&IT applies SAP’s expertise in technology and business processes and drives the internal adoption of standard applications. The organization supports end-users in the execution and re-engineering of their processes in all lines of business, always putting a strong focus on end-user centricity.

The IT Operation team is responsible for the smooth running of all business critical systems and applications at SAP, and provides additional value add services towards the internal employees.
Business System Operations (BSO) integrates SAP’s innovations to the existing business system landscapes and provides stable system operations.

As part of the department, the Business Systems Management (BSM) Team is orchestrating the systems that run SAP´s Business. BSM is responsible for building, maintaining and operating the internal business system landscapes. The implementation of latest IT technologies is the foundation of SAP´s digital transformation.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Support the BSM SAP Jira implementation
• Support the BSM Converge Cloud migration
• Support technology research with the use of SAPs latest technology innovations
• Collaborate with different departments to define and capture reporting requirements
• Generate ideas with fresh and outside-in perspective
• Support other BSM Projects

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• Currently enrolled at German university or university of applied sciences
• Strong analytical skills and creativity in solving complex challenges
• Proactive and self-dependent working style
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong English language skills, German language skills beneficial
• Curiosity towards new technology

Beneficial skills

• Computer skills: Experience with SQL, HTML5, JavaScript and MS Office (esp. Excel), SAP UI5 is a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Any prior experience working at SAP IT is a plus
