PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking for creative and passionate students to join us for our “use case factory” project. The goal is to create new user interfaces based on user needs, aiming for high end-user satisfaction and an enjoyable experience.
You’ll receive real-world demands from our client from the chemical industry, as well as guidance and mentorship from our team.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• Use research methods and concepts such as design thinking to learn how users think and behave; create a software solution design based on these learnings
• Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, customers, and other stakeholders to introduce, iterate, and clarify design requirements
• Design and build business-oriented mobile and web applications according to style guides and tool-based creation of prototypes
• Support of planning, execution and evaluating usability tests
• Establish a customer-specific UX strategy considering user requirements and technology trends
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
You are a currently enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences:
• Preferred fields of study: Business Informatics / Informatics / Interaction Design / Business Administration / Psychology / Sociology / Social Anthropology
• Experiences with agile development methods in the area of user experience - user testing, storytelling ~translating between business and technical jargon
• Experiences in Design and Usability in Software Development
• Optional: Knowledge of design tools, like “Sketch”
• Optional: Knowledge in Design Thinking, user-centered design and agile development methods is a plus
