PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Because user experience is of vital importance to the success of all SAP products, SAP constantly evaluates and improves its products to ensure that SAP users get the best user experience possible. User Experience at SAP covers all activities from conception and design of future SAP products to maintenance and improvement of existing applications.
As part of the Global Design Team, UX engineering leads the activities across the different organizations to provide all needed building blocks to scale the adoption of Fiori and accelerate the speed of bringing UX innovation into the hands of our customers. We create and implement new design concepts, enable scaling of the great FIORI design through reference applications, and design and deliver an integrated development infrastructure. Fiori Elements is SAP’s approach for a scalable and consistent development of new SAP UI5 apps. With our floorplans and controls we enable thousands of developers across the world to build desirable and reliable applications with the highest possible quality. 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
For our Fiori Elements development team in Walldorf we are looking for an engaged and motivated working student who has a profound knowledge of JavaScript to support the development team. You will work closely with architects and developers around the world. You will be involved in the development of brand new, state-of-the-art floorplans. If you are a person who is a team player, can work self-paced and independently, and if you are willing to work in global, multi-cultural team, this position is perfect for you. 
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

You are a currently enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences:

• Studying preferably in the fields:  Computer sciences             
• Having the following computer skills: 
  • Good knowledge and experience with JavaScript
  • First experience with test frameworks / QUnit tests is a plus
  • Experiences with SAP UI5 is a plus       
• Speaking:  English (fluent) is a must     
• Soft skills: Team player, self-paced, independent working style
