Amazon in Munich is looking for a Senior Project Manager (part-time) for Amazon Hardlines product lines, who incorporates a solid business understanding and top-notch analytical skills with the technical background to become one of the contributors for cross-product line development, and to recommend how to improve processes and tools. In this role, you will closely work with technical teams across the world as well as the local business teams.


Your responsibilities:
· Drive cross-category cost/efficiency program and projects
·
· Ensure development of key features to drive customer experience & profitability
·
· Work with categories to align on growth and margin targets across EU
·
· Drive pan European alignment on key projects
·
· Analyze performance and make clear recommendations for business actions
·
· Drive development of business metrics and analytics: audit the existing metrics and suggest new KPIs to track continuous improvement; scope out the new reporting requirements; adopt and automate new reporting from our Data Warehouse (i.e. SQL) and present the new metrics to the business stakeholders

· Making recommendations for new policies and processes improvements, including: understand the current supply chain and product management processes; help optimize product catalog integration; work with the development teams to contribute to improve the current business management systems; audit the current business processes and copy best practices from other product lines or Amazon countries; work on key projects that focus on process automation; develop tools in e.g. Excel to facilitate process improvement short term

GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN

For this position we expect:
· University degree required, ideally in a technical or analytical discipline
·
· Multiple years of experience gained in an analytically focused role
·
· Demonstrated ability to manage projects (work prioritization, planning and task delegation)
·
· Fluent in English, demonstrated strong writing skills
·
· Expert knowledge of Excel, happy to deal with large sets of data to identify trends and issues
·
· Structured communicator, levering priorities across stakeholders
·
· Results oriented, effectively prioritizing and multitasking, able to work with tight deadlines
·
· Experience in identifying root causes of problems and necessary actions to eliminate them
·
· Great attention to detail
