The Amazon Retail team is looking for an experienced Vendor Manager (VM) to join our Apparel Category. You will play a key role in helping us achieve our growth objectives by delivering a step change in performance, improving the customer offer, expanding product selection and deepening relationships with some of our largest suppliers in the EU. The VM will manage commercial relationships with some of our largest partners in Europe. We expect the VM to be a passionate customer and category advocate within Amazon, with proven ability to negotiate complex business terms, develop and manage relationships, drive results and demonstrate competency with business and financial analytics. The VM must be an effective leader and communicator in working with some of Amazon’s most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment.

GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN

For this position, we expect:
· Professional experience including complex commercial negotiation, gained within major organizations in e-commerce or retail, key account management or consulting environment
· Outstanding analytical skills, as demonstrated through prior roles held, and experience in P&L management, planning and forecasting.
· Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas, with ability to audit and correctly correct when issues arise.
· Proven ability to influence others in a business setting
· Strong commercial acumen, a business focused way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results-driven mentality
· Strong communication skills (written and verbal), specifically excellent English communication skills
· University degree from top ranked institution
