PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP HR Family & Career as part of SAP HR offers a broad range of information, counseling services, childcare offers, and events. HR Family & Career supports SAP employees in all questions related to the improvement of work / family balance. The department supports employees, managers, and teams at SAP, enabling them to tap their own potential by finding their individual solution to manage family & career. They can thus achieve, maintain, and support a balance between their workload and ability to perform efficiently.

We prefer a flexible working student (f/m/d) employment in part-time (minimum 16 working hours per week).

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a working student (f/m/d), you will support projects to enable employees to balance their work and family life. This includes administrating and driving upcoming topics and projects regarding the compatibility of family & work, such as managing the parent-child-offices and internal awareness events, maintain our internal communication platform and provide self-researched news. In addition to that, marketing activities in Germany are carried out to promote new and existing Family & Career services.

With this position you will win very good insights in Family & Career initiatives running in Germany, overcome your individual boundaries and learn how to manage a project towards a clear goal. In your daily work, you will drive your work results self-initiatively – including the cooperation with different SAP-departments and third party partners. Therefore, you will gain in-depth project management and interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Studying preferably in the fields: business studies, social or education sciences, psychology     
  • Having the following computer skills: MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)     
  • Speaking German fluently and strong English skills, both written and spoken
  • Besides that, you bring: a strong affinity towards family topics, high level project management skills, good multi-tasking and communication skills, flexibility, self-initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Work experience: First practical experiences in HR or project management is a plus
