Digital Engineering and Manufacturing Services: Aerospace Design Engineer (w/m/d) – München/Manching

We’re looking for an Aerospace Design Engineer to employ in Manching within our business unit Smart Engineering. In this role you will work within the design team to deliver best-in-class engineering design for the aerospace industry. You will build with us the added value we’re proud to offer to our clients. You will need an ability to work to short deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

• Create concepts and detailed designs of aerospace products and components with focus on military aircraft airframe, systems and mission equipment
• Analyze the requirements, capabilities and performance of new and existing products
• Verify requirements compliance and apply relevant industrial standard
• Research potential new product developments, new processes, and/or new sources
• Use CAD programs to develop concepts and designs
• Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of products and components
• Communicate and collaborate with the team and with the client about technical decision and work progress
• Coaching of Junior Design Engineer

• BSc/MSc in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years work experience in the aerospace industry
• Good Knowledge of Catia V5
• Experience with Catia V6 and 3D Experience is a plus
• Knowledge of aerospace processes, requirements and methods
• High motivated team player, with interest in working in multicultural teams
• EU/NATO nationality only
• Fluent in English and German
