PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES 

The Office of the Managing Director of SAP Germany is looking for pro-active, highly motivated and results-oriented team player to support the Managing Director’s team in the planning, coordination and execution of strategic projects and current priorities. The ideal candidate (f/m/d) thrives in a fast-paced environment of a global high-tech business, brings exceptional communication and writing skills, thinks strategically, works effectively with people at all levels in an organization and displays highest levels of integrity and commitment.
SAP Germany is the largest market unit of SAP and the Managing Director of SAP Germany holds ultimate responsibility for this strategic contribution to SAP’s success. The Office of the Managing Director supports the Managing Director in the corresponding planning, coordination and execution of SAP’s strategy in Germany, while assisting the Managing Director in his day-to-day activities. This includes but is not limited to: 

  • Directing the strategy and business towards profitable growth and operation
  • Driving communication activities of the Managing Director e.g. within the creation of Keynotes, town-hall meetings, press and analyst relations, social media content, etc. 
  • Formulating and successfully implementing company operating procedures e.g. Go-To-Market-plans
  • Representing SAP at major customer engagements, professional associations as well as in German media and leading publications

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Customer-focus and empathy for stakeholders on all levels are considered critical skills. Under the supervision of the Managing Director’s permanent staff, the Working Student (f/m/d) is required to:

  • Apply self-starter mindset, show problem-solving attitude, understand overarching problems / assigned tasks and quickly develop the most efficient and effective approach required to solve them
  • Support strategic initiatives in self-standing way with guidance from the Managing Director’s staff. Manage projects, define deliverables and provide definitive advice and interpretation of situations
  • Deliver relevant and high-quality output – even under time-pressure, iterate effectively with stakeholders to get deliverables ready in time
  • Ability to formulate concise and effective written communication (E-Mails, Slide design, Protocols, etc.) 
  • Prioritize work effectively and deliver on time to a high standard 
  • Enjoy working in a high-performing team and don’t get scared away by lists like this – as they simply resemble an opportunity to grow and learn

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences
  • Preferably Master, MBA or PhD student (f/m/d) with excellent academic record in the fields of Business Administration or Computer Science
  • Computer skills: Solid experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint incl. ThinkCell
  • Language skills: Fluent in German and English, additional languages are a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience through internships and/or permanent employment in sales, business development, marketing or management consulting is a mandatory requirement.
