PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Are you interested in IT topics and software products?

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic student to join our team.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You will support our international team of technical writers in creating user assistance. We are looking for someone who likes to take the initiative and who is passionate about user assistance. After an initial on-the-job training, your tasks will include:

• Updating and creating product documentation
• Fixing formatting and content errors
• Creating images, infographics and videos
• Asking for and implementing feedback for our deliverables

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills

• Student - preferred field(s) of study: Technical Communication, Linguistics, Media Computer Science
• Computer skills: Experience with MS Office applications
• Language skills: Proficient in English and German
• Soft skills: Reliability and very good communication skills

Preferred skills

• Social media skills: Experience writing blogs or creating videos
• Graphic skills: General understanding of design principles and methodology  
• Experience with a content management system, XML/DITA or graphics tools

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
