PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking for students that enjoy writing and are curious to explore the world of technical communication and user assistance in one of the leading cloud software areas at SAP. We design and develop online documentation, software-embedded assistance, and video tutorials to assist our customers with using our SAP Analytics software.
Our team members collaborate closely with software engineers, user experience designers, and subject matter experts to provide innovative user assistance solutions that help our customers have a highly successful experience with our products. We cultivate an open and communicative atmosphere in our team, where curiosity, critical thinking and a customer-focused mindset are premium. A mentoring concept assures effective “on the job” training and the ongoing opportunity to improve skills and grow career opportunities while pursuing studies at a university. This is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience of an interesting hi-tech profession in a great international working environment.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Creating and updating documentation under supervision from technical writers in our team, eventually taking on responsibility for topics or projects of your own
• Supporting the team in creating additional, target-group-specific user assistance in form of image maps, info graphics, videos, or blog posts
• Working in a cross-functional and international team with developers, product managers as well as technical writers and translators

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Student at a university or university of applied sciences (preferred fields of study: Linguistics, Technical Communication, English, Media, Computer Science)
• Excellent spoken and written English (we write exclusively in English)
• Experience with office applications
• High reliability, teamwork

Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
