The Intelligent Enterprise Group drives SAP’s continuous innovation journey by streamlining and rethinking SAP’s internal processes and systems. IEG orchestrates simplification at SAP by renovating key business processes to match the company’s cloud and platform strategy. Our mandate is to turn SAP into an Intelligent Enterprise with highly automated & scalable business processes along SAP’s value chain from Innovate through Sales Operations to Quality and Renewal.

ROTATIONAL TRAINEE PROGRAM

During this 12-month trainee program you will gain insights into the different areas of the Intelligent Enterprise Group. In three rotations, you will work primarily in the fields of Process & Governance, Technology & Platform and Innovation to support the teams in simplifying processes. You will join teams across our organization like e.g. IT, Analytics, or Sales Operations. One of the rotations will be in an SAP subsidiary abroad. Throughout the year, you’ll get a deep understanding of the internal end-user needs via several shadowing assignments in project-relevant business units and through dedicated user empathy trainings. As a strong bonus point of the program, we provide you with continuous on-the-job and classroom trainings, an action learning trip to an innovation hub and a dedicated buddy. Thereby, we assure that you keep on developing yourself. After a successful completion of the program, you will join one of the teams in the IEG unit matching your skills and interests.

The official start date of the IEG trainee program is February 1, 2020. Applicants who make it through the first application round will be invited to an assessment day in September 2019.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, business informatics or a related field (such as informatics or design)
  • Knowledge about the IT-business, cloud transformation and its impact for software companies and their transformation journey (IT architecture, business processes and business models)
  • Passion for IT and interest in new IT trends, e.g. machine learning
  • Insights into cloud business through at least one internship or working student job at a “cloud company”
  • International experience through at least one longer stay abroad
  • Experiences with project management, agile and/or scrum
  • Fluent in English (proficiency in German is a plus)
  • Basic development skills are beneficial (e.g. knowledge in Java, SAP UI5, etc.) but not necessary
