PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) is responsible for SAP’s infrastructure backend & technical foundation, including state-of-the-art data centers and associated technical platforms. These serve as foundation for all of SAP’s Cloud solutions, but also for SAP’s internal development, training, or demo landscapes.
Our customers expect no less than Zero Downtime. With SAP’s amazing growth in the Cloud Business, we want to further strengthen our capabilities in End-to-End Infrastructure Monitoring and Analytics.
As part of the Infrastructure Operations team in CIS, the Network Monitoring and Analytics team architects, implements and operates various solutions to serve this goal. We are currently expanding our global team with multiple positions.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Plan and manage service changes efficiently and effectively
• Manage risks relating to new, changed or retired services
• Successfully deploy service releases into supported environments
• Set correct expectations on the performance and use of new or changed services
• Ensure that service changes create the expected business value
• Provide good-quality knowledge and information about services and service asset

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Student of Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related studies
• Strong project management skills
• Solid MS Office Applications skills (incl. web-based reporting applications)
• Strong collaboration skills
• Results oriented and analytical thinking capabilities
• Strong communication skills
• Business level English and German
